![]() ![]() Very dark but arty and mostly from England. Most of what I've listened to in the last 30+ years is now called "Prog-Rock". EP was an incredibly perfect representative of fun, simple pastimes, simple pleasures, simple losses, no complex issues.mainly joy. Songs and scripts that have no apocalyptic messages or mentions of current world enigmas. Getting these songs/albums and movies takes me back actually before my birth(1960). This is extremely fun and I think I know why. a concert tho), I'm up to 1962(Follow That Dream). I guess I'm working my way up to which-ever movie it is from(prob. I LOVE THAT AVATAR! That is so cool and funny. I like your forum and would enjoy correspondence, especially about collecting his records. ![]() Unfortunately after that, he became more commercial, but I am enjoying the movies too. Watching "Love me Tender", he acted as well as any Oscar winner in recent times. I always wanted to reply to Eddie Murphy's remark, "Elvis, he couldn't act". I'll keep that vinyl coming and collect it. I'll collect more, but I missed something. Then I enjoyed them so much as I played them one time to record them onto my hard drive. Mostly the 45's with picture sleeves in good shape. So I did research on the original RCA 45's and LP's and bought a few. ![]() I got on Ebay and I wanted to -buy- something vinyl and rare. I was 16 when he died and really did not think much about it, but watched the world over the next 3 decades never stop obsessing over him. I'm 50 which means I grew up with EP news etc. The first was in response to a very interesting Martin Sheen interview about EP. ![]()
